for COMDEX networking services.
For COMDEX,
Samsung chose The PinPoint Group to provide all networking services
in their trade show booth. The PinPoint Group worked with Samsung
to specify requirements and design a solution that would provide
complete network solutions to all the stations in Samsung’s 10,000
square foot booth. PPG implemented redundant servers, a firewall,
a T-1 circuit, and complete Cat-5 wiring.

Terminal Services
Pilot a Success for Chili Fire Department
The PinPoint
Group completed the pilot project of Terminal Services for Chili
Fire Department. Chili Fire Department uses a custom software
application, Red Alert, to manage operations in its four fire
companies. To minimize bandwidth usage for this database-driven
application, PPG implemented a Terminal Services solution over
VPN connections from site-to-site. This solution has increased
performance and decreased the maintenance effort for the fire
departments. Another Real World Solution!
